Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Offshore Diving Industry Agreement 

 

Referring to previous correspondence, I can report that your union met yesterday with the ODIA signatories. This meeting lasted almost five hours. The union advised the signatories that years two and three of the offer (2025 and 2026) were broadly acceptable to RMT members, however, the sticking point was the 6.5% offer in year one. It was made clear to the signatories that RMT members are prepared for fight for a substantial pay increase.  

 

Various potential outcomes were discussed including the dilution of the ODIA agreement; however, it was agreed that this course of action is in no-one’s best interests. The meeting concluded with the signatories agreeing to return to their respective finance departments and seek further funding for the year one pay increase. The signatories expect to present your union with a formal offer by 2^nd April 2024.
