Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Port of Dover Cargo Ltd
In line with union policy, a pay submission for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. Your Lead Officer has met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:

In addition, employer’s pension contributions will be increased by 1%, if this is matched by the employee. This would change from 5% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution to a matched contribution of 6% employee contribution and 4% employer contribution. The company will also include suicide within its life assurance policies. The offer is effective from 1st January 2024.
Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted a report received from your Lead Officer and taken the decision to conduct an electronic referendum of affected members.
Additionally, the National Executive Committee is strongly recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept these proposals. It is the belief of your National Executive Committee these proposals represent the best achievable through negotiation. The online referendum will close at 11am on Tuesday 9thApril 2024.

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 hours on Tuesday 9th April 2024.
