Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Pullman Rail (TfW Owned)

Our Ref: BR4/0001/PR

16th October 2024

Dear Colleagues

Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Pullman Rail (TfW Owned)

Referring to previous correspondence, further negotiations have taken place with the company and the following two-year pay offer has been received:

Year One

  • A 4.6% increase applicable from 6th April 2024

Year Two

  • RPI (February 2025) applicable from 6th April 2025

The following also applies:

  • An agreed profit share mechanism for all Pullman staff to be implemented in 2025/26 financial year
  • An agreed performance related pay mechanism to be implemented in 2026/27 financial year.

The company has provided clarification that both the proposed profit share and performance related pay schemes would require RMT agreement prior to their implementation and would not hold up implementation of the pay award if agreed.

Consequently, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so that you can have your say. It is the belief of your National Executive Committee these proposals represent the best achievable through negotiation. Should members vote to reject these proposals, then the RMT will call industrial action.

The on-line referendum will close at 10:00 hours on Tuesday 22nd October 2024.

Referendum instructions: you must have an email address to take part

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 10am on Tuesday 22nd October 2024.

If you know of any member who has not received this email or if you are having any difficulties voting, please contact referenda@rmt.org.uk or the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706. If you do not receive your vote immediately, please check your junk/spam folders before contacting us for a replacement.

Yours sincerely
