RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 — PULLMAN RAIL

 

Further to my most recent correspondence dated 11^th June 2024 I am writing to provide you with a brief update concerning the latest developments in relation to the above-mentioned matter.

 

A meeting was held with Pullman Rail on 26^th June 2024 to discuss the RMT pay submission which was attended by your RMT Representatives.  Unfortunately, I must inform you that no offer was forthcoming at the meeting despite the RMT claim being submitted some months earlier.  Your negotiating team left the company under no illusions that this delay was completely unacceptable and that any additional delays would not be tolerated.

 

A further meeting will now be held on 4^th July 2024 however the company was informed that a failure to present an appropriate offer at this stage could lead to the matter being referred to the RMT National Executive Committee for consideration. 

 

I will of course keep you informed of any further developments in this regard but please be assured that RMT remains determined to achieve the best possible award for our members during these negotiations.
