Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Rail Gourmet (TPE Contract)

 

Your RMT Lead Officer has held further talks with the Company and the offer which has now been received is as follows:

 

• A 10% pay increase from 1^st November 2024 which would see colleagues on LWF see their per hour pay increase to £13.20. Other hourly paid colleagues would be eligible for the same 10% increase therefore maintaining their differential.

 

As part pay offer members will be expected to complete the following:

 

• First class catering eligibility checks
• Enhancing the flexibility of spare turns (additional paid hour on days rostered to spare turns to cover short notice sickness and service disruption)
• A commitment to discuss using the Passenger Assist App upon acceptance of the offer (no passenger assistance through deployment of ramps)

 

Consequently, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so that you can have your say. 

 

Your Lead Officer repots that while the additional duties are acceptable to members, the obstacle to a potential pay deal is the continued refusal of the company to honour the pay anniversary date of 1^st April 2024. Therefore, the National Executive Committee is recommending that you vote ‘NO’ to reject the offer.

 

The on-line referendum will close at 10:00 hours on Thursday 21^st November 2024.
