Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Russell Railroad Ltd (Coatbridge Terminal)

 

Negotiations have taken place with the company to discuss pay and conditions. During discussions, a full and final no strings offer covering 15 months was put forward. As per the TUPE consultation agreement, this offer will be backdated to 1^st January 2024 and aligns with the standard 1^st April 2024 pay anniversary.

In summary, the full and final offer covering 15 months and no strings consist of 

 

• 1^st January 2024 a 3.6% increase
• 1^st January 2025 a 1.5% increase
• Next negotiations 1^st April 2025

 

The union’s National Executive Committee has considered this matter and has noted the report from your Regional Organiser and the recommendation of your negotiating team. Therefore, I have been instructed to conduct an e-referendum. The union’s National Executive Committee is recommending members vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer.

 

The online referendum will close at 11am on Thursday 15^th August 2024.

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 hours on Thursday 15^th August 2024.
