Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Scotrail Trains Ltd 

 

Referring to previous correspondence, further negotiations have taken place, at the end of which the following improved offer was tabled for the General Grades:

 

• 4.5% backdated to 1^st April 2024
• The payslip systems will be centralised, meaning the payslip issue date will change from Tuesday to Wednesday prior to payday
• Defer recruitment of non-critical roles

 

Having carefully considered the improved offer, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so that you can have your say on it.

 

Additionally, the National Executive Committee is strongly recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept these proposals. It is the belief of your National Executive Committee these proposals represent the best achievable through negotiation. This offer is also the same offer which has been tabled for the Train Driver Grades. The referendum will close at 11am on Thursday 12^th September 2024. 

 

Referendum Instructions

 

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 hours on Thursday 12^th September 2024.
