RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – STADLER (MERSEYRAIL CONTRACT)
The referendum of you and your colleagues over the company’s pay offer has concluded and the result is as follows:
Are you prepared to accept the company’s offer?
Total votes cast 81 (78%)
Number voting YES 76
Number voting NO 5
For reference, the offer is:
- A 4% base pay increase backdated to the anniversary date of 1st April 2024 for all employees covered by the collective bargaining agreement
- All employees covered under the collective bargaining agreement to be issued with an individual Merseyrail staff travel pass allowing travel on the Merseyrail network only
- An agreement to open up a family friendly policy review with RMT, with a view to implement any agreed policy changes in 2025
- A commitment to review the core work agreement and implement any agreed amendments by 31stOctober 2024
- Pension workshops to be arranged for employees to attend
- Support RMTs agenda for equality within the workplace
Your union’s National Executive Committee has considered the matter and instructed me to advise the company of our acceptance and request that the increase is implemented at the earliest opportunity, inclusive of back pay.
