RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024

STAGECOACH CHESTERFIELD (ENGINEERING & CLEANING GRADES)

 

In line with Union policy, a claim was submitted for a substantial increase in rates of pay and improvements to conditions of service. Talks have taken place and the offer which has been received is as follows:

 

• The offer is for 12 months, commencing 1st July 2024 to 1st July 2025
• The offer applies to all engineers and cleaners based at Chesterfield depot
• The hourly rates would apply as follows:

Apprentice Year 1 (60%)	£9.60	£10.20	6.24%
Apprentice Year 2 (65%)	£10.40	£11.05	6.24%
Apprentice Year 3 (75%)	£12.00	£12.75	6.24%
Apprentice Year 4 (85%)	£13.60	£14.45	6.24%

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee (NEC) has considered the offer and it has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so you can have your say on it. The NEC has noted a report from your Lead Officer and due to the offer being significantly above RPI, is recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer.

The on-line referendum will close at 10:00 hours on Thursday 22^nd August 2024
