RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024

STAGECOACH SOUTH ANDOVER (ENGINEERING)

 

In line with Union policy, a claim was submitted to the Company for a substantial increase in rates of pay and improvements to conditions of service. Talks have taken place with the Company and the offer which has been tabled is as follows:

 

• A 5% increase from the anniversary of 29th January 2024 for all grades
• A new pay grade introduced for Fueller Shunter Cleaners without a PCV licence
• The removal of Contract B, Contract A will now adopt the pay of Contract B from 1st April 2024. All other conditions for Contract A remain
• Sick pay at 86% of full pay for all grades
• A weekend/Bank Holiday enhancement applied to the hourly rate for all grades

 

Having considered a report from your Lead Officer, the National Executive Committee has taken the decision to reject the offer and seek a further urgent meeting with a view to receiving an improved offer. I will keep you advised of all further developments.
