RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024

STAGECOACH LINCOLNSHIRE ROAD CAR

 

Your RMT negotiating team has recently held pay talks with the Company and the 3-year offer for Lincolnshire Road Car staff, based at Lincoln, Gainsborough, Scunthorpe, Long Sutton and Skegness depots is as follows:

 

• An 8% increase from 1^st January 2024
• A 4% increase from 1^st May 2024
• A 6.9% increase from 1^st May 2025
• A 1.75% increase from 1^st January 2026 *

 

* If RPI is greater than 3.5% in November 2025, further pay talks would take place in advance of the January 2027 anniversary date

 

The rates of pay which will apply are as follows:

In addition, hourly enhancements for Driver Mentors and Leading Drivers will increase as follows:

 

• Driver Mentors – The current hourly enhancement will increase from 50p per hour to 75p per hour
• Leading Drivers – The current enhancement will increase from £5 per day to £1 per hour

 

Non-licence holders will transition to the top rate after 6 months (PCV licence holders after 3 months.

 

The next pay anniversary date will be 1^st January 2027.

 

The Lead Officer has consulted with members and, having noted the Lead Officer’s report, the National Executive Committee has noted that a majority of membership wish to accept the offer. The National Executive Committee has taken the decision to advise the Company of our acceptance of the offer and has commended our members and negotiators upon their diligence and resolve in achieving this result.

 

I have written to the Company accordingly and asked that the increase is paid at the earliest opportunity. I also wish to thank the Branch and relevant Reps for their help and assistance throughout this matter.
