Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Stagecoach South Andover (Drivers)

 

Following members rejection of the previous two pay offers, further negotiations have taken place and the final offer which has now been received is as follows:

From 26th January 2025, a minimum rate increase of 2.5% will be applied. If RPI is 3.51% or greater, then Stagecoach will pay whatever RPI is for the month of January 2025 (usually known in March 2025). If RPI is 3.5% or less then the Company will pay 2.5%. 

 

The rates with the minimum 2.5% increase would be as follows:

In addition to the above, the following enhancements would apply from 15th September 2024: 

 

  • All hours worked on a Sunday would attract a further enhancement of 30p, therefore totalling 80p per hour enhancement on a Sunday

 

Finally, the banding for Contract B would reduce, so that “12-24 months Driver [Contract B]” would become “12-18 months Driver [Contract B]” and “over 24 months Driver [Contract B]” would become “over 18 months Driver [Contract B].” 

 

The next pay anniversary would be Sunday 25th January 2026.

 

The National Executive Committee has considered a report received from your Lead Officer and has instructed me to conduct an e-referendum of you and your colleagues with a recommendation to vote ‘YES’ to accept the offerI must also advise you that should this offer be rejected this will lead to a ballot for industrial action.

 

The on-line referendum will close on at 10am on Thursday 18th July 2024.
