RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – STORY PLANT

 

STRIKE ACTION CALLED

 

Following your overwhelming rejection of a derisory pay offer from Story Plant, you and your colleagues have returned an outstanding ballot result, demonstrating that you are willing to stand firm together to demand an improved offer from your employer that meets your reasonable expectations. 

 

Consultation has taken place with your representatives and Regional Organiser, who have noted the strong mandate that members have delivered for industrial action. This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has taken the decision to call on Story Plant members to take the following strike action:

 

You are instructed NOT TO BOOK ON for any shifts that commence between:-

 

• 05:59 on Saturday 3^rd August 2023 until 05:59 on Tuesday 6^th August 2024

 

I urge you all to stand firm together and support this action, to urge your employer to return to negotiations with an improved offer.
