RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – STORY PLANT

 

STRIKE ACTION SUSPENDED

 

Further to my letter dated 19^th July 2024 calling for members employed at Story Plant to take strike action from this Saturday 3^rd August, further discussions with your representatives have taken place, and your union’s National Executive Committee has suspended the strike action. 

 

You are therefore instructed to book on and work as normal for the below:

 

• 05:59 on Saturday 3^rd August 2023 until 05:59 on Tuesday 6^th August 2024

 

Your determination to win pay justice in this dispute sends a clear message to management that they must continue discussions with the RMT and return with an improved offer. I have advised the company that your union is available for talks to resolve this dispute and I will keep you advised of all further developments.
