RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – TRANSPORT FOR WALES RL (STATIONS, CLERICAL & ADMIN GRADES)

 

Further to my previous correspondence of 17^th June 2024, I am writing to update you on the latest developments concerning the pay negotiations.

 

At a meeting held with the company yesterday (30^th July 2027), the following revised offer was tabled by the company for consideration:

 

• 2 Year Offer
• Year One - 3% increase applicable from 1^st April 2024
• Year Two - RPI increase (February 2025) applicable from 1^st April 2025

 

The company was informed at the meeting that, whilst the offer was an improvement on its previous position, it was unlikely that it would meet the aspirations of our members in this regard.

 

I will of course keep you informed of any further developments but please be assured that RMT remains determined to achieve the best possible pay award for our members during the negotiations.
