RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024-TRANSPORT FOR WALES GOV (CATERING GADES)

 

Further to my previous correspondence dated 3^rd June 2024 I am writing to provide you with an update concerning the latest developments in relation to the above-mentioned matter.

 

At a meeting held with the company yesterday (30^th July 2024), the following revised offer was tabled by the company for consideration:

 

Two Year Offer 

 

Year 1 (2024)

• A pay increase of 3%

 

Year 2 (2025)

• Pay offer linked to RPI (based on RPI in February 2025)

 

The company was informed that the offer was unlikely to meet the aspirations of our members in this regard with a further meeting to held in due course.

 

I will of course keep you informed of any further developments in this regard but please be assured that RMT remains determined to achieve the best possible pay award for our members during the negotiations.
