Rates of Pay, Conditions and Pensions 2023 – DB Cargo

 

The union’s negotiating team has attended meetings with the DB Cargo management and at the conclusion of these talks the following offer has been tabled: 

 

• 7% increase across all grades, backdated 1^st July 2023

 

Please note that this offer is dependant on members of the DB Cargo section of the Railways Pension Scheme (RPS) agreeing to have their pensionable pay capped (frozen) for six years from 1^st July 2024.

 

While the 7% increase in pay will be pensionable any pay award given from 1^st July 2024 will not be pensionable 

 

The pensionable pay freeze only affects contributing members of the RPS (Category 60 & 65 and Career Average Revalued Earnings members)

 

Having carefully considered the offer, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so that you can have your say on it.

 

The referendum will close at 11am on Monday 12^th February 2024. 

 

Referendum Instructions

 

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 hours on Monday 12^th February 2024.
