Dear colleagues, 

 

RECOGNITION – TfL FACILITIES ELECTRICAL CONTRACT (ABM)

 

Following negotiations between RMT and ABM, recruitment activities, and the persistence demonstrated by the RMT activists involved, I am pleased to report that a union recognition agreement has been signed by both your union and the company.

 

The RMT is now the officially recognised union for collective bargaining purposes for all electrical contract team members up to and including supervisory grades.

 

In accordance with the agreement, the Union will shortly be making arrangements to elect two Local Representatives, one of whom should also be elected as an Health and Safety Representative. Further details will be provided to relevant members in due course.

 

Kindly bring this letter to the attention of any of your colleagues not yet in the union and encourage them to join RMT to take advantage of the many benefits of RMT membership in a collectively organised workplace.
