Dear Colleague,

 

RECOGNITION – TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS CLEANING CONTRACT (BIDVEST NOONAN)

 

Following discussions between RMT officials and management of Bidvest Noonan, I am pleased to report that a revised union recognition agreement has been signed by both your union and the company, governing the principal cleaning contract on TransPennine Express for most facilities and turnaround cleaners.

RMT initially won recognition on this contract at a time when it was managed by Carlisle, and the union’s collective bargaining relations with Bidvest Noonan have to date been governed by the same agreement once signed together with Carlisle.

The revised agreement has secured RMT members an additional RMT representative above the number guaranteed by the previous recognition agreement.

A copy of this circular will be sent in due course to all RMT members employed on the contract in question. Kindly bring this circular to the attention of other interested members.
