REMINDER TO VOTE

Dear Colleagues

RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2020

CLARKE CHAPMAN FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE

VOTE ‘YES’ FOR BOTH QUESTIONS

RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER BY TUESDAY 12th JANUARY 2021

By now you should have received your ballot paper from the independent scrutineer Civica in this dispute over your pay and conditions. If you have not done so yet, please do not delay and make sure your ballot paper is completed and returned to the Scrutineer by no later than Tuesday 12th January 2021.

RMT needs all members to return an overwhelming ‘YES’ vote in the pay ballot in order to put maximum pressure on the company to meet our demands for a fair pay deal.  Due to draconian anti-union laws there are voting thresholds we have to meet in to be able to call industrial action. Its does not just matter how many vote yes but also how many members vote overall. Failure to meet these thresholds means industrial action can’t happen so a high turnout is absolutely imperative. It is therefore vitally important that every single member votes in this ballot.  Now is the time to stand up and be counted and send Clarke Chapman a clear message that you will accept nothing less than a fair pay offer that rewards all your hard work and loyalty.

If you have not received your voting paper, please email the RMT Helpline info@rmt.org.uk with the following information:-

  • Your Name
  • Your Address
  • Your Membership or NI number
  • Your phone number (in case we need to contact you)

  • In the subject heading of the email please put ‘Ballot Paper Request’

I urge you not to waste your vote and to vote 'YES' for industrial action.

Important to note: The Scrutineer for RMT Ballots and Elections is now “Civica Elections Services”. Letters from Civica are not junk mail and should be opened.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE - RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER

VOTE 'YES' FOR STRIKE ACTION AND

INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

I will keep you advised of all further developments.

Yours sincerely
