REVISED DISCIPLINARY & GRIEVANCE POLICIES - COLAS RAIL
I am writing to advise that at a meeting of the Colas Rail Company Council held on 15th October 2020 the company tabled a proposal for a number of amendments to the current disciplinary policy and procedure agreement.
There are no fundamental changes to the policy and procedure document but some points have been clarified or the terminology updated. The matter of confidentiality during disciplinary investigations has been expanded upon with the document making compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) explicit.
Your representatives have reviewed the changes proposed by the company and it is their view that they are broadly satisfactory.
Your National Executive Committee has considered the amendments to the disciplinary policy and procedure document along with the Regional Organiser’s report. Having further consulted with the representatives on the matter, the NEC accepts the changes and the company will be notified of our acceptance.
