RMT CALLS STRIKE ACTION ON
SATURDAY 8th OCTOBER 2022
Dear Colleague
DEFEND JOBS, PAY AND CONDITIONS – TRAIN OPERATING COMPANIES
Your union’s National Executive Committee has considered the above matter and has instructed you and your colleagues not to book on for any shifts that commence between:
00.01 hours and 23.59 hours on Saturday 8th October 2022
It is abundantly clear that you are not getting rewarded for your hard work and that is why we must continue to demand that our jobs are secure, that our terms and conditions are not ripped up and that we are rewarded with a decent pay rise.
A meeting has ben arranged on Wednesday 28th to report back to your representatives on the latest position in this dispute and I will write again shortly.
You are commended for your determination and commitment during this dispute so far and I am sure you will all continue this magnificent solidarity and support to fight to defend your jobs, pay and conditions.
HARD WORK DESERVES FAIR PAY
UNITY IS STRENGTH
SUPPORT THE INDUSTRIAL ACTION
Yours sincerely
Michael Lynch
