RMT COMPANY COUNCIL SEATS FOR STATIONS GRADES – SOUTHEASTERN TRAINS

 

Please see the below a message from John Parsons, your Regional Organiser and Lead Officer for Southeastern Trains: -

 

“I am pleased to announce that Company Council reps for Stations Grades, Alexander Stoten and Mick Carney, have joined RMT. 

 

By agreement with the company their Company Council seats will now become RMT seats, meaning RMT members now hold all four seats at Company Council level. These seats will be up for election on their anniversary date.

 

This now makes RMT the only trade union with Representatives to undertake collective bargaining at Company Council level for Stations Grades at Southeastern.

 

It is to be expected that other staff will seek to join the RMT from the Stations Grades.  I encourage all existing RMT members to welcome their colleagues in joining the union for Stations Grades at Southeastern.

 

Together we are stronger and a single, all-grades union speaking on behalf of members at Company Council level serves to make us a more effective organisation in serving members.
