RMT RECOGNITION – QUALITY LINE (RATP DEV LONDON)

Our Ref: B/20/6

30th November 2017

Dear Colleagues,

RMT RECOGNITION – QUALITY LINE (RATP DEV LONDON)

I write further to my correspondence dated 16th November 2017 in relation to the above matter. Despite our continued attempts the company still refuse to engage with your union to try and resolve this matter, in the same way they seem to be ignoring the petition signed by you and your colleagues at Epsom to urge the company to enter into joint recognition. This is deeply disappointing as the company continue to ignore the requests of those working for them.

I made an official complaint to the TUC regarding the activities of Unite as soon as I became aware of the recognition issues at your depot and the most recent correspondence from them agrees with my request for an urgent formal meeting with the TUC, Unite and the RMT to discuss the matter.

Further, I shall be contacting the CGT and SUD Unions in France to request that they put pressure on RATP Dev regarding this issue, potentially in the form of a demonstration outside the company’s head office in Paris.

Please remember that all members employed by Quality Line (RATP Dev London) at Epsom Depot are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between: -

• 00.01 hours and 23.59 hours on Monday 4th December 2017

I urge you all to continue your magnificent support for your union in order to gain the recognition that you want for YOUR union.

SUPPORT THE ACTION
UNITY IS STRENGTH

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
