ROLE CLARITY CONTRACTS - BAND 5 TO 8 WORKING GROUPS - NETWORK RAIL

TO ALL MANAGED STATION STAFF AT NETWORK RAIL ON ROLE CLARITY CONTRACTS

Dear Colleagues

MANAGED STATION STAFF – BALLOT STARTS NEXT WEEK

ROLE CLARITY CONTRACTS - BAND 5 TO 8 WORKING GROUPS - NETWORK RAIL

Voting papers for the ballot in our dispute over Network Rail’s refusal to address the serious problems with your terms and conditions should now have arrived at your address and need to be returned by Tuesday 28th July. If you have not received one, please see the details at the bottom of this email for a ballot paper to be sent to you by first class post.

As I am sure you are all too aware, it is vital that we achieve the highest possible turnout and the highest possible vote saying 'YES' for action, as the government's very stringent anti-union laws means that every vote counts. A ‘YES’ vote strengthens our hand in getting the company to the negotiating table and take the matter seriously, making a favourable settlement much more likely.

Therefore, if you have not yet returned your voting paper, then please do so as a matter of urgency as the ballot closes at first post on Tuesday 28th July 2020. If you have not yet received your voting paper then please contact the RMT Helpline by Email at HYPERLINK "mailto:info@rmt.org.uk" info@rmt.org.uk. Alternatively, you can call the RMT Freephone Helpline number on 0800 376 3706, where they will arrange for a replacement ballot paper to be sent out to you first class.

If you are aware of a colleague who has not received their paper or has recently moved address or changed their workplace/job title then ask them to contact their union on one of the above contact methods.

We remain available for discussions with the company to resolve this matter should they have a proposal to offer. I will keep members fully informed of any further developments.

Important Please Note: The Scrutineer for RMT Ballots and Elections is now 'Civica Election Services' and not the 'Electoral Reform Society'. Letters from Civica are not Junk Mail and should be opened.

VOTE “YES” FOR STRIKE ACTION

VOTE “YES” FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

FAIR CONTRACTS FOR STATION STAFF NOW!

Yours sincerely
