Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2023 - Stadler Rail (Merseyrail Contract)

 

REMINDER TO VOTE – REFERENDUM CLOSES AT MIDDAY ON TUESDAY 9THJANUARY

 

Further to my previous correspondence, the e-referendum is open for members to vote until 12:00 noon on Tuesday 9thJanuary 2024, and I urge you to cast your vote to have your day on the offer. As a reminder, the offer is:

 

  • A 7% general pay increase for all employees in post at the current anniversary date of 1st January 2023
  • Agreement that the new pay anniversary date will be 1st April, commencing in 2024
  • A one-off payment of £750 to all employees, under the condition that RMT agree to open discussions in relation to weekend working for all relevant employees which may lead to a further consolidated increase
  • Negotiations for this will take place at Company Council
  • Any employee who has a frozen salary as per the TARA negotiations, to receive 100% of the 2023 pay award as outlined above, this is applicable to this pay award only
