Dear Colleague

 

ROSTERING ISSUES, CATERING GRADES – AVANTI WEST COAST

 

Further to my previous correspondence with regards to the above dispute, once again I would like to congratulate you and your colleagues for returning an overwhelming result in the ballot for industrial action. 

 

The ballot results prove that our AWC Catering grade members refuse to be treated with contempt by management and have their work life balance disrupted and hard-won agreements attacked.

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee has again considered the matter and has taken the decision to call on all our AWC Catering Grade members to take industrial action. Therefore, you and your colleagues are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:

 

• 00.01 hours until 23.59 hours on Friday 7^th June 2024

 

I ask you all to show your support and stand shoulder to shoulder during the day of industrial action. We must demand that the company immediately take our concerns seriously and address the issues at the heart of this dispute, without delay.
