Dear RMT Heathrow Express Branch member, 

 

Special Meeting - RMT Heathrow Express Branch – 7^th June 2024 at 12.00 hours

 

In accordance with a recent decision of the RMT National Executive Committee, I am pleased to advise that Branch meetings are being reconvened.

 

The first meeting has been scheduled for Friday 7^th June 2024 at 12.00 hours at The Mitre Lancaster Gate, 24 Craven Terrace, Lancaster Gate, London W2 3QH.

RMT members are encouraged to attend this important meeting where the following items have been tabled for the Agenda:

 

• Election of vacant Branch Office positions (such as Branch Membership Secretary) up to the next Branch AGM in December.

 

• A written report from the Lead Officer.

 

• Heathrow Express Ballot issues - Nominations for Rmt Relief Regional Organiser (South).

 

• Customer Host RMT Local Representative Vacancy.  

 

• Mitte Cleaner Operatives RMT Local and Health & Safety Representative Vacancies. 

 

• Information on other Branch Meetings and Branch Elections. 

 

• Any other business. 

 

Furthermore, I can advise that further Branch meetings are being scheduled for the following dates:

 

• Thursday 5^th September 2024 at 14.00 hours.

 

• Friday 6^th December 2024 at 12.00 hours for the Branch’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). At this meeting, elections will be conducted for all Branch Office positions for the year in accordance with Rule 2, Clause 7 of the Union’s Rules.
