Our Ref: TFL/15/4
19th June 2019
As you are aware, RMT is in dispute with the Company over its Transformation process and the failure to follow the correct procedures or adhere to our agreements. I wrote to the Company again today to confirm that the dispute situation remains unresolved as the Company continues to impose Transformation on RMT members including unacceptance practices such as: trawls for voluntary severance; breaches of clauses 6.1.1 and 6.2.6 of the Main Agreement; breaches of the PPP Code of Best Practise; breaches of the CMO Roster Agreement and the Company’s refusal to attend talks at ACAS.
The NEC has also now taken the decision to immediately ballot all affected LU members including all ex-Tube Lines members, Palestra House (LUCC) Service Control, Signals, Skills Development and Track Access Control. I strongly urge you to ‘VOTE YES FOR STRIKE ACTION’ to fight against this attack and the cuts to your jobs.
Ballot papers will be posted to you and your colleagues on Wednesday 26th June 2019 and the closing date for the ballot is Tuesday 16th July 2019. Please vote as soon as you receive your ballot paper and return it in the freepost envelope provided.
If you do not receive your voting paper, or know of a colleague who has not received it, please call the freephone helpline on 0800 376 3706, RMT Head Office on 0207 387 4771 to ask for the Industrial Relations Department or e-mail email@example.com to request a replacement.
