Urgent Advice – ISS Siemens/Heathrow Express Contract

Dear Member,

I understand you are being presented with a new contract of employment today which you are being encouraged to sign. I also understand there is to be a further meeting on the 9th of November regarding the proposals. Please note that your employer has not approached your trade union to discuss any proposed changes your contractual terms of employment. I am writing to your employer today requesting an urgent meeting to discuss their proposals in order to provide you with the most appropriate advice. In the meantime I would advise that you do not at this time sign any new contracts of employment until I have had a response from your employer. However, you should attend any meeting and ask as many questions you can about what the company intends and how any proposed changes would impact your length of service, redundancy entitlement and any other contractual matters you are entitled to.

If you feel individually pressured to sign a new contract and you are unsure about it please feel free to ask your manager to contact your Trade Union Official, RMT Officer Eddie Dempsey, directly on 01179255018
