Dear RMT Member,
WORKFORCE REFORMS (2023 PAY NEGOTIATIONS) – GREATER ANGLIA
Please see the below a message from Kathy Mazur, your Regional Organiser and Lead Officer for Greater Anglia: -
“On the 13th February 2024, your negotiating team entered discussions with the company concerning the 2023 rates of pay and the company’s agenda of seeking what they call workforce reforms.
This is in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding that was reached in the Defend Jobs, Pay & Conditions dispute.
We have since had several meetings by function: -
- Customer Service
- Revenue Protection
- Catering
- Conductors
- Train Presentation
- Depot Facilities
We are now in receipt of the company’s initial proposal for changes to members conditions of service. Your representatives are scrutinising the documents and these meetings will continue.
Your reps are committed to ensuring the best outcome possible for members. Following the victory of our campaign to keep ticket offices open your negotiating team will be standing firm to defend and advance members’ pay, terms & conditions across all grades.
I will keep you updated on the progress of these negotiations. When we reach the point when we have an offer that can be put to members, I will share the proposals with you.
Yours sincerely,
Kathy Mazur
