WORKING TIMETABLE 44/45 (WT44/45) TRAIN OPERATORS, BAKERLOO LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

Our Ref: LUL/14/2

13th December 2019

TO: ALL TRAIN OPERATORS ON THE BAKERLOO LINE

Dear Colleague,

WORKING TIMETABLE 44/45 (WT44/45) TRAIN OPERATORS, BAKERLOO LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

LAST CHANCE TO VOTE – PLEASE DON'T WASTE IT

VOTE YES IN THE BALLOT FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION

RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER BY TUESDAY 17th DECEMBER 2019

The closing date for the ballot is Tuesday 17th December 2019 – so if you haven't done so already – now is the time to vote. Due to new balloting laws I cannot stress enough how important it is that you complete your ballot paper and return it as quickly as possible.

You and your colleagues are being balloted over the serious concerns with the Working Timetable WT44/45 which has been in place since May 2019. We firmly believe this timetable is failing and is causing undue stress on Train Operator members. As a result of LUL’s failure to address our concerns we have told them we are now in dispute and we are now balloting you and your colleagues for strike action and industrial action short of a strike.

All Bakerloo Line Train Operator and Instructor Operator members should now have received their ballot paper for the above ballot. If you have not done so yet, please make sure you return it, to reach the Scrutineer by the closing date of Tuesday 17th December 2019.

It is vitally important to get a strong turnout in this ballot as the anti-union laws mean there are strict minimum turnouts we need to meet for a ballot to be successful. If you or any of your colleagues has not received their ballot paper by today, Friday 13th December please contact the helpline on 0800 376 3706, by email to info@rmt.org.uk or to the Head Office Switchboard on 0207 387 4771 and a paper will be sent to you first class. Also, if you are aware of a colleague who has not received their ballot paper, ask them to call one of the above numbers to update their details and to receive a replacement ballot paper.

I urge you not to waste your vote and to vote 'YES' for strike action and 'YES' for industrial action short of a strike.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE - RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER
VOTE ‘YES’ FOR STRIKE ACTION &
‘YES’ FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

I will keep you advised of all further developments.

Yours sincerely
