WORKING TIMETABLE, WTT 44/45 – LONDON UNDERGROUND
Following notification being sent to London Underground informing the company that you and your colleagues will be taking strike action this weekend, a meeting was held to try to resolve this dispute under the auspices of conciliation service Acas. The company then set out its position in writing following this meeting.
Your Regional Organiser reported that London Underground had failed to offer a satisfactory resolution or show enough movement that would allow the strike action to be called off. Your National Executive Committee has therefore noted that the company has failed to properly address the concerns of you and your colleagues and declared that the strike action remains on. To remind you, you are instructed not to book on for duties which commence between:
12.00 hours on Friday 21st February 2020 and 11.59 hours on Saturday 22nd February 2020
12.00 hours on Sunday 23rd February 2020 and 11.59 hours on Monday 24th February 2020
Your NEC and I congratulate you and your colleagues for taking this action and recognise that the timetable changes that management have made have placed intolerable levels of personal stress on our members which in turn impacts on your safety-critical role.
I am sure you and your colleagues will give wholehearted support for this strike action and send a message to London Underground that its action in this dispute are unacceptable.
