Dear Colleagues
PAY FOR PERFORMANCE – DEFEND YOUR PENSIONABLE PAY – TRANSPORT FOR LONDON
FURTHER STRIKE ACTION CALLED
Further to my last letter, your General Grades Committee has called further strike action which will be in conjunction with our sister unions TSSA and Unite. You are therefore instructed as follows.
All TfL members are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:-
• 0600 hours Friday 9th May 2014 and 0559 hours Saturday 10th May 2014.
Your union has continued to meet with the company demanding a decent pay offer and full pensionable pay for all TfL employees. Their current proposal is nothing less than a concerted attack on the future of the TfL pensions Fund which affects all its members regardless of grade. I urge you to stand firm in solidarity with your colleagues on the strike day. They must be left in no doubt of your determination to defend your pensionable pay.
