Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service – Network Rail

Our Ref BR6/0001

24th March 2015

Dear Colleagues

PAY OFFER REJECTED!

RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2015 – NETWORK RAIL

The referendum of Network Rail members on the Network Rail pay proposals has now concluded and the result is as follows:

“Are you prepared to accept the company’s offer?”

Votes Cast 8434

Yes 534 (6.3%)

No 7896 (93.7%)

Spoilt 4

As a result of this clear and overwhelming decision from our membership, we have advised the Network Rail we are in dispute and have sought further meetings with them to address the present unacceptable offer.  They have been advised that unless an improved offer is tabled before 2nd April 2015, we will commence a ballot of all members for strike action and industrial action short of a strike.

I shall keep members fully informed of developments.

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash

General Secretary
