RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2015 - CITY CRUISES

Further to previous correspondence on the above matter, I can report that your union has been approached by management to re-enter talks in relation to your pay award. Your Representatives wish to take the opportunity to meet with management in an attempt to resolve the current dispute.    

After careful consideration, your union has suspended tomorrow’s industrial action to allow these negotiations to take place. Therefore the strike action which was due to start at 07:00 hours on Thursday 27th August 2015 has been suspended.  

Therefore you are instructed to work as normal on Thursday 27th August 2015.

This shows what can be achieved when members stand together. It is a tribute to your solidarity that the union was able to force management back round the negotiating table.

I will, of course, keep you advised of any further developments as and when they arise in this matter.
