RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE AND NIGHT RUNNING LONDON UNDERGROUND

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE AND NIGHT RUNNING
LONDON UNDERGROUND

All RMT members working for London Underground are reminded of the upcoming strike action starting Tuesday next week. The details of this action are below and full details of all industrial action taking place in respect of this dispute can be found overleaf.

All LU members, excluding Train Operators And Instructor Operators are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:-

•    18:30 hours on Tuesday 25th August 2015 and 18:29 hours on Wednesday 26th August 2015.

•    18:30 hours on Thursday 27th August 2015 and 18:29 hours on Friday 28th August 2015.

Train Operator and Instructor Operator members are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between: -

•    21:00 hours on Tuesday 25th August 2015 and 20:59 hours Wednesday 26th August 2015.

•    21:00 hours on Thursday 27th August 2015 and 20:59 hours on Friday 28th August 2015.

I urge you all to continue to stand firm together and support the action to demand a decent pay increase and proper recognition for all grades over Night Tube. Talks with LUL are still taking place at ACAS and this extended industrial action must show management that it is now time to table a genuine offer to resolve this dispute once and for all. I will keep you informed of all further developments.

All LU members are instructed NOT TO WORK ANY OVERTIME from 21:30 hours on Thursday 9th July 2015 until further notice.

All LU members are instructed not to train or familiarise any London Underground Employee or contractor in any working practice/s that are not a normal, contractual and agreed job task work location of the trainee, from 03:30 hours on Tuesday 28th July until further notice.

All Train Operators and Instructor Operators are instructed as follows from 03:30 hours Tuesday 28th July 2015, until further notice:-

•    Drivers are instructed to check whether their train has been prepped within the previous 24 hours before bringing their train into service.
•    If the train has not been prepped within the previous 24 hours, do not bring the train into service.  
•    If the train has been prepped within the last 24 hours, but this has been carried out by unqualified personnel, do not bring the train into service.

In addition to the above, Traincrew Representatives are instructed not to allocate duties on bank holidays incurring overtime. Every effort should be made not to allocate any overtime at all but if it becomes apparent that this is not possible, then you should withdraw from the process and inform management this is a union instruction.
