Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service and Night Running
All RMT members working for London Underground are reminded of the upcoming strike action starting tomorrow, which will be the second round of an all-out shutdown across the network. The details of this action are below and full details of all industrial action taking place in respect of this dispute can be found overleaf.
All LU members, excluding Train Operators and Instructor Operators are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:-
• 18:30 hours on Wednesday 5th August and 18:29 hours on Thursday 6th August 2015
Train Operator and Instructor Operator members only are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:-
• 21:00 hours on Wednesday 5th August and 20:59 hours on Thursday 6th August 2015
Your RMT negotiating team has been in talks at ACAS earlier this week and all Unions were presented with a “revised full and final offer” by LUL in respect of pay 2015 and Night Tube. However, the reality is that this offer is not really any different from those received previously and is therefore still unacceptable. You will have received full details of the offer from LUL and as you will see, it has been re-hashed and re-packaged but continues along the course that LUL seem intent on, including destroying work/life balance and smashing up long-standing agreements fought for over many years. The Night Tube ‘bonus’ payment aspect of the offer would still lead to a division amongst grades and the multi-year pay offer is unchanged.
I urge you all to make sure that this strike action is as solid as before and to continue to fight for a fair and decent pay increase and proper recognition and compensation FOR ALL GRADES for the introduction of Night Tube.
