Dear Colleague

RE-ORGANISATION AND REDUNDANCIES – HEATHROW EXPRESS
FURTHER INDUSTRIAL ACTION

Further to my letter dated the 25th July 2014 with regards to the above matter, I can now advise you that following consultation with your Senior Union Representatives the matter has again been subject to recent consideration by the union’s Executive Committee and the following decision has been taken:

All HEX members are instructed to take industrial action short of a strike by refusing to work any overtime between the following hours:

•    00.01 hours on Sunday 24th August 2014 and 23.59 hours on Sunday 21st September 2014

Additionally, between the times and dates as outlined above:

•    Our Driver members to refuse to operate under One Person Operation (OPO) conditions.
•    Our Customer Service Representative (CSR) members to refuse to dispatch trains under OPO conditions.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your steadfast determination to resist these unnecessary attacks on your livelihoods by Heathrow Express. The industrial action taken to date has been solidly supported which is all the more commendable considering the company’s tactics in their vain attempts to undermine this dispute.

UNITY IS STRENGTH
SUPPORT YOUR UNION – SUPPORT THE INDUSTRIAL ACTION

Mick Cash
Acting General Secretary
