On second day of DLR action RMT demands that London Labour Mayor take responsibility for workplace abuses on his watch

General Secretary Mick Cash said;

"RMT DLR members are rock solid again this morning in their fight to stop outsourcing and contracting undercutting their jobs and conditions and in their battle for workplace justice. The union stands shoulder to shoulder with our DLR mem‎bers in this important dispute which once again puts the scourge of outsourcing centre stage.

"The London Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan cannot sit back any longer while these workplace abuses and attacks on a key group of London transport workers are happening on his watch. The Mayor cannot, with any credibility, wheel out the argument that this is simply a row between the union and his contractors. He needs to take responsibility and force KAD back to the negotiating table ‎for serious and genuine talks."
