RMT Press Office:
RMT on "shameful" news that Grayling blew £85 million on Brexit ferry shambles
MARITIME UNION RMT repeats demand this morning for Grayling's resignation as Public Accounts Committee reveals he blew £85 million on the Brexit ferries shambles.
General Secretary Mick Cash said;
"It is nothing short of shameful that while RMT members on the lifeline Royal Fleet Auxiliary are forced to take industrial action to protect their standards of living the Government have been blowing millions on the Brexit ferries fiasco. A fraction of what has been wasted would have settled the RFA dispute.
"How Chris Grayling is still in post after his serial failures beats the hell out of me. While Britain's maritime industry is being shredded on his watch he is throwing fifty pound notes at Brexit ferry scams we warned him were doomed to failure. He should go and he should go now."
