General Secretary Mick Cash said "These plans, way off into the future, are wholly at odds with the current cuts strategy in the here and now which involves slashing budgets and axing over 800 station staff.

If tube bosses seriously want the public to believe that they are investing and planning for the future they would halt and reverse the current job cuts and deal with the logistical mess that they have thrown up through the Night Tube project which is scheduled to come on stream in just over a months time with no agreements in placeā€Ž."
