RMT responds to unveiling of new Eurostar fleet this morning.
Mick Cash RMT General Secretary said
"It is simply insane that with Eurostar unveiling modern new fleet, generating substantial and increased profits , and planning for expansion , that this Government is planning to sell off Britain's lucrative , strategic stake .
"The flogging off of our share in Eurostar is a short sighted and ideological move that makes us a laughing stock in France, Belgium and the rest of Europe. It is an act of Thatcherite privatisation and industrial vandalism that RMT will continue to fight."
