RMT protests over rail and seafarers in Edinburgh today

30 November 2016

RMT Press Office:

RMT members in Scotland today took to the streets of Edinburgh to highlight two high profile campaigns on St Andrew's Day - SAFER SCOTTISH TRAINS and SAVE OUR SEAFARERS – and to the front door of the Scottish First Ministers official residence in Edinburgh.

The union held a short protest outside Bute House, Charlotte Square, Edinburgh before they took the short walk to Bute House.

RMT are pressing the case for public ownership of Scotrail and the ending of the poverty pay scandal on the Northern Isles Seatruck ferries.
