“Introducing 24 hour services does not sit well with a government strategy of de-staffing trains and stations and removing the very workers who would be essential to safeguarding night time operations.
“There would be huge staffing and logistical challenges required to make any such move happen and Network Rail should be engaging with the union before shooting from the hip in the media.
