RMT Press Office:
Bus workers employed by CT4N in Nottingham will take strike action across four days in June and July in a dispute over pay and working conditions.
Strike action will take place on the following days:
• Thursday 12 June 2025
• Wednesday 18 June 2025
• Wednesday 25 June 2025
• Wednesday 2 July 2025
Bus workers operate critical services across Nottingham, including the Medilink routes serving NHS hospitals and clinics.
Despite the vital role they play in the city’s transport system, CT4N staff remain underpaid and undervalued.
RMT general secretary Eddie Dempsey said: “Our members at CT4N perform a vital public service, day in and day out, including getting NHS staff and patients to hospitals.
"They have had enough of low pay and poor conditions while their workload increases and the cost of living keeps rising.
“The company has had every chance to come to the table with a fair offer.
"Instead, they have dragged their feet.
"This union will back our members all the way in their fight for dignity and respect at work.”
RMT is calling on CT4N to return to negotiations with a meaningful offer that addresses members’ concerns.
END
