RMT suspends Boxing Day strike action on Bakerloo Line after significant progress in negotiations
Other action still remains on and all CSA, CSS and CSM members in Charing Cross, Elephant & Castle, Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus Areas are instructed to take strike action by not booking on for any shifts that commence between:
• 22:29 hours on Sunday 13th January and 22:29 hours on Monday 14th January 2019
RMT General Secretary Mick Cash said:
“I want to pay tribute to RMT members on the Bakerloo Line whose solidarity and determination has enabled our negotiators to make enough progress in talks to allow the suspension of the Boxing Day strike action.
“In the meantime, strike action scheduled for between 22:29 hours on Sunday 13th January and 22:29 hours on Monday 14th January 2019 remains on until further notice.
“RMT's executive will continue to monitor the situation and will take whatever future action is required to ensure a positive outcome.”
