Road freight union RMT warns over driverless lorries tests

RMT General Secretary Mick Cash said;

"Jobs, pay and working conditions in Britain's road freight industry are already under attack and RMT sees the announcement today as yet another threat to our members‎ and their livelihoods.

"The potential dangers of trying to introduce this technology on Britain's crowded roads are glaringly obvious and instead of dubious stunts like this we should be looking at investing in decent jobs and policies to keep Britain's freight moving."
