Second day of RMT DLR strike remains rock solid

4 November 2015

RMT Press Office

General Secretary Mick Cash said;"For a second day of this dispute on Docklands Light Railway RMT members remain united, determined and rock solid in their industrial action.

"RMT members have made it crystal clear that they will not be bullied into accepting changes that undermine both their jobs and operational safety.

"There is no excuse for Keolis Amey to dig their heads in the sand in the face of the very clear anger they have generated across the DLR workforce and it's down to them to now face up to the issues at the heart of this dispute.

"RMT's executive is monitoring the situation and the union remains available for meaningful talks. "
