To: ALL RMT MEMBERS AT ISS LONDON UNDERGROUND

Dear Colleague,

USE OF FINGER PRINTING TO BOOK ON – ISS (LUL CONTRACT)

Further to my email of today’s date you will know that there is a continuing problem with management insisting members sign on using the finger printing technology.

As you know as of this moment in time some managers have told staff that if they do not sign on they should go home.

We are seeking a sensible resolution to this dispute but management are continuing to use strong arm tactics on members including threating to call the police to have members removed from their place of work.

I am calling an urgent meeting at Unity House at 16.00 hrs tomorrow, Tuesday 17th June and you are encouraged to attend.

I shall also be asking out cleaner representatives on all LUL contacts and our London Underground representatives to attend.

Yours sincerely,

Mick Cash
Acting General Secretary
